Locket’s is a vivacious wine bar and café and for the very first time is available to hire exclusively for fashion and photoshoots, providing fashion editors with a new location that has copious amounts of natural light and a uniquely idiosyncratic aesthetic, in the heart of St James’s. Locket’s, housed in the former Economist Building is mere steps from Jermyn Street and a short distance from the hustle and bustle of Piccadilly Circus. Situated in Smithson Plaza, on the corner of Bury Street and Ryder Street, this vibrant café has wrap-around floor to ceiling windows allowing natural light to flood the space. Designed by Fran Hickman Design & Interiors, Locket’s is an all-day café and wine bar opened by Lucy Hambro, in 2019. Inspired by the bustling all-day dining concept and wine bars found in European cities such as Paris, Amsterdam and Bordeaux, this beautiful space has influences of art deco design as seen in the use of copper and glass throughout.
Why Locket’s?
The excellent transport links, close to Green Park Tube station (Jubilee Line) and on several major bus routes, makes Locket’s easily accessible. Locket’s is a 70m2 L-shape café with a spacious outside terrace of approximately 9m x 9m – perfect for when both an indoor and outdoor shooting location is required. Being at the heart of St. James, this fantastic, centrally located space is highly convenient to access and has the gorgeous backdrop of West London throughout the year. With high ceilings and large open windows bursting light into the room, the café has an atmosphere of being airy and spacious. The interior of the wine bar explores interesting themes that have a clean, dramatic, and elegant style. With large mint-green blanquettes curving around the bar and complimentary orange resin tables, Fran Hickman Interiors has created a distinctive yet classically timeless look, perfect for a variety of fashion and photoshoots.

Locket’s is also available for half-day shoots. Locket’s can cater for all crew and photographers and can provide menus in advance for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Each menu has been created to cater for all dietary requirements, including vegans, vegetarians and those with allergies and intolerances such as gluten. Sample menus can be provided upon request.
