Fishing enthusiasts can set their catch (and release!) on the Big Five – milkfish, bonefish, permit, triggerfish, and Giant Trevally (Cosmoledo Atoll is the most prolific GT destination in the world). Not only is Cosmoledo Atoll a place to view the transcendent marine life, but it is home to the largest population of nesting Green Turtles – some guests are lucky enough to watch the hatchlings as they make their first trip to the sea.
When guests aren’t exploring the crystal-clear waves, Cosmoledo “Eco Camp” has a plethora of thrilling activities for guests to enjoy at their leisure. Visitors can partake in guided kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, coastal trails around Wizard Island, reef flats expeditions, sundowners on the beach, and the legendary flats lunch to create memories to last a lifetime.
Located on Wizard Island, the eight “eco-pods” accommodate 16 guests meaning visitors can expect a completely exclusive and secluded experience. Cosmoledo Eco Camp champions sustainability since the “Eco Pods” can be removed without leaving a trace but do not compromise on comfort or luxury. With panelled wooden floors, framed maps adorning the walls, elegant brass fittings, air-con, en-suite bathrooms, and comfortable beds each of the Eco Pods creates the feeling as though guests are fully immersed in the glorious environment whilst having home comforts.
